The Shadow Self: Embracing the Power of Duality
When one thinks of a shadow, we think of something slinking in the dark or maybe we imagine a summer day where we can see our dark reflection so vividly. In today's society, we are rewarded for disconnecting from our own shadows but this has raised a new issue involving hyper-individualism and it's impact on the collective sense of community. What if I told you that this avoidance could partially be fueling the issues? Emotional suppression works until it doesn't. Therefore, befriending our shadows and parts of ourselves that normally do not get a platform to be expressed, might not be the worst thing. (Personally, this does not include emotional abuse or hate speech so don't allow someone to try to justify weaponizing their emotional immaturity and negative behaviors under the guise of 'Freedom of Speech') Dive into our unique approach to spirituality and wellness, guided by the founder of Rebel Crow Enterprises LLC. Embrace the beauty and freedom in embracing every aspect of yourself including your shadows. If you enjoyed this blog entry, please let us know!
